Jet Nijkamp (Amsterdam, 1965) studied at the Rijks Academy of Fine Arts and at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. In 2010 she showed Charcoal in Retort, a collaboration with sound artist Frouke Wiarda and film maker Toon de Zoeten. With "It's all politically correct bullshit" Jet Nijkamp was nominated for the Black Magic Woman Award 2006. With Philosophy for the swines she made it to the shortlist Socrates Cup in 2005.
